HASSAN: Two persons were killed in as many road accidents in Hassan district in the last 24 hours, according to the police. Shivakumar (32) of Lingarasanahalli was killed when the motorbike he was riding collided with a truck near Bayalahalli in Hassan taluk on Thursday. He died on the spot, according to the Hassan Rural Police, who have registered a case. Sannadevayya (70) of Kodlihalli was knocked down by a vehicle on Halebeed Road on Wednesday, according to the Halebeed Police. He died on the spot, the police said.
