Cultural fete at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan

`Sameeksha 2005,' the yearly cultural competitions organised by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Senior Secondary School at Kodunganoor here, will be held on Friday.

The competitions, started in 2002, are aimed at exploring the literary, artistic, aesthetic and scientific potential of the school students in the city.

There will be competitions in 12 items, including group dance, group song, personality contest and quiz.

The Kulapathi K.M. Munshi Memorial ever-rolling trophy will be presented to the school coming first in the cultural competitions, while the S. Ramakrishnan Memorial Sasthra Sameeksha Trophy will be awarded to the winners of the science quiz.

Last year, Arya Central School had won the K.M. Munshi trophy, while Loyola School won the Sasthra Sameeksha trophy.
