HYDERABAD : Andhra Pradesh Director-General of Police, Swaranjit Sen, has criticised the manner former City Police Commissioner V. Dinesh Reddy went public by kicking up a row alleging protocol violation against him and later found himself in an embarrassing situation when the court struck down his case. Reserving his comments on the issue, Mr. Sen told reporters on Thursday that the police officers were not expected to "clean their dirty linen in public". In a related move, the DGP announced the participation of the Chief Secretary, T.K. Dewan, in the commemoration day parade of police martyrs at Goshamahal stadium on Friday. Mr. Diwan was said to have been included as a guest for the occasion in a bid to mollify the ill feelings between IAS and IPS lobbies in the backdrop of Mr. Dinesh Reddy's episode.
