NEW DELHI: Hat-tricks by Jeeson Joseph and Vishnu S.S. steered G. V. Raja Vocational HSS, Thiruvananthapuram, to an 8-1 win against La Martinier's for Boys, Kolkata, in the Nehru junior hockey tournament at the Shivaji Stadium here on Thursday. Joseph struck in the 23rd, 29th and 33rd minutes while Vishnu (41st, 49th and 68th) revelled in the second half. Shamshuddin M. (39th and 64th) was the other scorer. For La Martinier's, Sydney Martin Rozario (66th) netted the lone goal. In other matches, Moti Lal Nehru School of Sports, Rai, defeated Anand Academy SSS, Kota, 9-1 with Ajay Kumar coming up with six goals. Amit Kumar, Devender Sharma and Mohit Malik were the other scorers. Umakant Mishra scored for Anand Academy. Father Agnel HSS, Pilar, Goa, defeated Government Inter-College, Chamoli, 2-1 and Ashok Public School, Maharashtra, trounced Don Bosco High School, Khos, 7-2.
