First full session held

HYDERABAD: The Indian hockey players, who assembled at the Gachibowli Complex here as part of the preparations for the Champions Trophy to be held in Chennai from December 18, finally went through their first full training session here on Thursday morning.

All the 20 players and four officials including chief coach Rajinder Singh Jr, trainer Sampath Kumar, team doctor Saju Joseph and physio K. Ravi have reported at the venue. In the morning they focussed on a complete session of physical conditioning before deciding to train again late in the evening.

The list of those attending the camp: Goalkeepers: Bharat Chetri, Adrian D'Souza, Gurpreet Singh. Full-backs: Harpal Singh, Muthuselvan, Kuldeep Singh, Ajmer Singh. Half-backs: Viren Rasquinha, Ignace Tirkey, Prabodh Tirkey, Senthil Kumar, Sunil Ekka, Dhananjay Mahadik. Forwards: Ravipal Singh, Tushar Khandekar, Hariprasad, Gurtej Preet Singh, Adam Sinclair, Suresh Kumar and Vijay Alphonso. Chief coach: Rajinder Singh Jr.
