SSLC examination schedule announced

To be held from March 15 to 31

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The SSLC examination for the current academic year will be held from March 15 to 31, 2006. The examination will be conducted in two streams: based on the old scheme that had existed till 2003-2004 and under the grading system introduced last year.

As per the revised evaluation scheme, the maximum marks will be 760, with 630 marks for the general examination and 130 marks for internal assessment. Twenty marks will be awarded for the IT practical examination and 10 for theory. There will be no moderation this time. Grades and marks will be furnished in the certificate book.

The second-year Higher Secondary theory examination will also be held from March 15 to March 30, 2006. The practical examination will be conducted from February 13 to 25. The theory examination will be held in the afternoon on all the days.

Applications can be submitted till October 31 without fine and November 7, with a fine of Rs.10. The examination fee has been fixed at Rs.125.

Final re-allotment

The final re-allotment list for professional courses, except MBBS and BDDS in Government and aided colleges, will be published on the website http://cee-kerala.nic.in at 5 p.m. on October 22. , a press note issued here on Thursday said.

The list will also be available for reference at the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) on that day. Students who receive college/course change as per this re-allotment should report for admission at the specified college on or before October 31.
