MAHABUBNAGAR: Two persons, including a four-year-old boy, died of gastroenteritis in Sugar village of Pebbair mandal on Thursday. The epidemic also affected 38 other persons. According to reports reaching the district headquarters, U. Anusuyamma, 15, and T. Jayanna, 4, died this morning. Those who were down with the symptoms were undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Pebbair and Wanaparthy. Pedda Naganna, whose condition was said to be critical, was shifted to Kurnool hospital. Some officials, including DMHO Gopal, visited the village and conducted health camps.
