Seminar on cultivating and marketing herbs

CHENNAI: ITCOT Consultancy and Services is organising a seminar on medicinal and aromatic plants and herbal products.

The programme on October 24 (Hotel GRT Grand, T. Nagar - 9.30 a.m - 5.30 p.m.) will cover cultivation, extraction of these plants and products, applications in Ayurveda, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, scope in mutraceuticals standardisation and quality control issues, marketing and financial aspects.

Important herbs such as thulsi, vanilla, safed musli, stevia, aswagandha, amla, coleus, citronella, patchouli and lemon grass will be discussed in depth. Experts from research and academic institutions, NGOs, corporate sector, banks and marketing consultants will address the delegates.

The participation fee is Rs. 3,650 per delegate payable by demand draft in favour of ITCOT in Chennai.
