"No representation for State in panel"

CHENNAI:
The South India Film Chamber of Commerce has regretted that there has been no representation given to Tamil Nadu in the jury's selection panel for selecting films for the Indian Panorama section.
In an appeal to the Union Information and Broadcasting Minister S. Jaipal Reddy, the former president of SIFCC, A. Kothandaramaiah, explained that if Tamil Nadu was neglected, the Chamber would resort to boycott of functions and film festivals associated with the film industry.
The SIFFC, he said took such a decision as the 6-member jury panel, had no representative from Tamil Nadu.
