High-level panel to visit State

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A high-level committee, chaired by the former Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court Justice Rajinder Sachar, constituted to study the social, economic and educational status of the Muslims will visit the State on November 9. They will be in Kerala till November 15. The panel will hold discussions with Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and his cabinet colleagues, secretaries and voluntary organisations. Suggestions for overcoming the backwardness of the community in these areas can be submitted to it. — Special Correspondent
