Hemant Kumar Sinha has been posted to act as Special Secretary to Government, Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme department

CHENNAI: The State Government has notified the following transfers and postings.

V.K. Subburaj, formerly Commissioner of Handlooms and Textiles, has been posted to act as Commissioner of Labour, vice M. Sai Kumar.

Hemant Kumar Sinha, formerly Commissioner of Municipal Administration, has been posted to act as Special Secretary to Government, Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme department, vice Apoorva. He will function under the control of the Secretary to Government, Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme department, a release here said. Ruolkhumlien Buhril, formerly Joint Director-General of Foreign Trade, Chennai, on reversion to State cadre, has been posted to act as Project Co-ordinator, World Bank Assisted Integrated Child Development Services III Project, vice Atulya Misra, holding additional charge.

Dr. B. Chandramohan, Commissioner for Disciplinary Proceedings, Tirunelveli has been transferred as Joint Secretary, Agriculture Department, vice G.Sundaramurthy who has been transferred. He will also function as Director, Drought Prone Area Programme.

The services of Ms. Apoorva, Joint Secretary to Government, Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme department have been placed at the disposal of the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu for appointment as its member-secretary, vice P.W.C Davidar who has been deputed for training abroad.

R. Vijayakumar, Special Commissioner and Commissioner of Land Administration, is transferred and posted to act as Special Commissioner and Director of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, vice M.F. Farooqui.

S. Audiseshiah, Special Secretary to Government, Industries department, has been transferred and posted to act as Commissioner of Land Administration, vice Dr. R. Vijayakumar.

Rameshram Mishra, formerly Secretary to Government, Industries department, has been posted to act as Secretary, Small Industries department, vice D. Rajendran who has been transferred.

The services of Mr. Farooqui have been placed at the disposal of the Government of India, Department of Economic Affairs, for appointment as its Joint Secretary. The services of Mr. Sai Kumar have been placed at the disposal of the Government of India, Department of Commerce, for appointment as Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Chennai.
