THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 52-year-old autorickshaw driver was killed at Muttathara on Thursday night after he was run over by a mini-lorry, the traffic police have said. According to the police, the accident occurred around 7.45 p.m. when the autorickshaw which Ravi was driving collided head-on with a mini-lorry. Ravi who was thrown out of the vehicle was crushed to death by the lorry before it sped away. The traffic police are investigating the case.
Run over by train
A man, apparently in his 50s, was run over by a train near the Pettah railway station on Friday evening. He is yet to be identified. The body has been kept in the mortuary of Medical College Hospital.
