Margaret Trudeau in the dock in Ottawa

Ottawa: Margaret Trudeau, the ex-wife of former Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, whose 1970s escapades with the Rolling Stones and at New York's Studio 54 night club earned her notoriety, appeared in court in Ottawa on Friday to face a drunken driving charge. Trudeau was accompanied for much of the day by a daughter from her marriage to real-estate developer Fried Kemper, whom she wed soon after divorcing Trudeau in 1984. — AP
