Bidar: The former MLA Gundappa Biradar may rejoin the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is presently in the Janata Dal (Secular). Party sources said that he will be received into the party fold during the BJP's Jana Sangharsha Yatre in Bhalki on Thursday. When contacted, Mr. Biradar confirmed his plans to return to the BJP. Party sources said that Mr. Biradar is trying to return to the party and has held discussions with senior leaders Jagadish Shettar and B.S. Yediyurappa. Many leaders were keen on Mr. Birada joining the BJP as Aurad has a large number of partyworkers but no effective leadership.
