Former principal dead

Chennai: Aranga Narasingam (79), retired principal of the Government Arts College (Men) at Kumbakonam, died of a cardiac arrest here on Sunday.

He is survived by his wife, N. Kamalam.

Mr. Narasingam was the founder-president of the Tamil Nadu Government College Teacher's Association.

The last rites would be held at 5/695, Mahalakshmi Street, Senthil Nagar, Otteri Extension, Chennai- 48 on Monday at 4 p.m.
