A Division Bench, comprising Justice M.K. Sharma and Justice Sanjiv Khanna, gave the `go ahead' to the interim arrangement with a condition that the Board would not invite financial bid, the next and final stage of the tender, till disposal of the petition by Zee Telefilms seeking quashing of an eligibility condition issued by the Board for the award of telecast and broadcast rights of cricket matches to be played here between October 2005 and September 2009. The Bench also directed the Board to maintain the accounts of the proceeds, which it would collect during the two series. The Bench had last Thursday given a strong signal of allowing the Board to go ahead with the interim arrangement for the telecast of the two series. Harish Salve, counsel for Zee Telefilms, had also agreed to the Court's view on the point of urgency of the matter.
