Coimbatore: Candidates who have registered at the Coimbatore District Employment Exchange would be recommended on seniority basis for the post of physical education teachers, to fill vacancies in the Education Department and the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation. A release said that eligible candidates (Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Class, Backward Class and Open Category) who had registered up to October 19, 2005, had been recommended to the Coimbatore Corporation. Those recommended to the Education Department are as follows: Those who registered up to July 28, 2004 (non-priority Scheduled Castes); August 14, 2003 (non-priority Most Backward Class); October 23, 1996 (non-priority Backward Class and Open Category); and October 19, 2005 (priority Backward Class and Open Category). Candidates who had registered at the employment exchange and who were eligible for selection to these posts have been asked to meet the Assistant Director, Coimbatore District Employment Exchange. They should bring their identity cards and educational certificates for verification, and confirm that their names have been included in the list.
