Gangotri Textiles to expand capacity

COIMBATORE: The Coimbatore-based Gangotri Textiles will increase its garment production capacity from 1,000 pieces a day to 4,000 pieces by next October. C. R. Vasudevan, President, Projects, speaking to presspersons at the launch of Feather Touch and Matrix varieties of Tibre trousers here on Monday, said the company increased its garment capacity last month to 1,000 pieces a day from about 500 pieces. A special feature in these was the use of `Supercrease' technology, licensed by Clantex of the U.K.
