Awards for women scientists

CHENNAI: The office of the Science City has invited applications for the Tamil Nadu Young Women Scientist Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award 2005.

The Tamil Nadu Young Women Scientist Award is given to four scientists below 40, who have carried out exemplary work in science and technology. The Lifetime Achievement Award is given to a scientist above 65. The awards include a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 and a citation.

Applications are available at the Office of the Science City, Planetarium Campus, Gandhimandapam Road.
