One-man panel to identify anomalies in pay scales
Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD:
The Government has at last appointed N. Rangachary, advisor, Finance Department, as one-man committee to identify the anomalies and discrepancies, if any, in the pay scales and benefits of its employees recommended by the Pay Revision Commission of J. Rambabu and suggest rectification.
The appointment of one-man committee comes in fulfilment of the Government's promise to the Joint Action Committee of Employees, Teachers and Workers to rectify the anomalies while allowing 16.5 per cent hike in scales recently.
Mr. Rangachary will submit his report in three months.
An order issued by the Government states that the committee will go into the issues raised by the JAC such as master-scale of 2005, as compared to that of 1999, technical pay scale to drivers, change of designation and uniforms to attenders, etc.
