Demonstration

The All India Insurance Employees' Association (AIIEA) staged demonstrations demanding immediate wage revision. As part of the protest, a demonstration was held in front of the Oriental Insurance Company on Tuesday. Employees of United India, New India, Oriental and National Insurance Company participated.

Grievances meeting

A grievances meeting will be held at the Executive Engineer's Office, Avinashi, at 11 a.m. on October 26. Consumers could represent their grievances regarding power supply at the meeting.
