Meet discusses Naga peace

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh chaired on Tuesday a meeting of the National Security Council (NSC), which is understood to have discussed ways to take forward the ongoing peace process in Nagaland involving major insurgent outfit National Socialist Council for Nagaland (I-M).

"Several issues were considered. The Naga peace process was one among them," highly placed sources said after the two-hour meeting at the Prime Minister's residence here. — PTI
