BWSSB opens control rooms

Installs wireless equipment in the Police Commissioner's control room

Bangalore: The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board has opened four control rooms to work round the clock in different parts of the city to meet the crisis resulting from continuous rain.

All control rooms will be equipped to deal with emergencies.

The BWSSB has also installed wireless equipment in the city Police Commissioner's control room and posted an engineer there to coordinate work around the clock.

The phone numbers of the control rooms are given below:

South: MN Krishna Rao Park service station (ph. 22945155) will cover Chamarajpet, Basavanagudi, Jayanagar, JP Nagar, Padmanabha Nagar, Banashankari, Koramangala, Srinagar, Hanumathanagar, Kumaraswamy Layout, Katriguppe, HSR Layout and surrounding areas.
