Awards for teachers

Book Paradise Teachers Awards for the year 2006 will be presented on January 1 for teachers from primary, secondary, undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate educational institutions. The award carries Rs 10,000 cash and citation. Nominations from individuals and institutions in Karnataka should be sent before November 15. Science expo

To promote scientific awareness among students, Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological (VIT) Museum will organise a science expo on November 7.
