Madurai: A veritable feast is in store for those who are interested in documentaries, as the 7th Documentary Festival 2005 will be organised in the Temple City from December 6 to 10. The five-day festival will feature some impressive productions of Television for Environment, documentaries screened in festivals at World Social Forum in Mumbai and Brazil and some of the brilliant documentaries in Tamil and other languages. Besides, the organisers have also called for documentaries in video compact discs or digital video discs for cash award.

The winner will get a cash prize of Rs.5000. Top 10 documentaries, entered for the contest, will be screened in the festival. The winner would be declared on the last day of the festival. Entries close on or before November 15 with Marupakkam, C5/2 K.K. Nagar, Madurai - 625 020. Phone: 09344156392.
