Gram Sabha meetings

Gram Sabha meetings will be held on October 29 (National Disaster Mitigation Day) in all the panchayats in the district, according to a release.

Office open

Office of the Registrar of Companies, Coimbatore, will function on October 29 and 30 for filing of balance sheets and annual returns of companies under this jurisdiction, according to a release.

Yoga festival

Divyodaya Inter-Religious Centre will organise a yoga festival on November 6.

The competition is open to students from Class V to X. Essay competition on topics "Yoga for Improving Studies" and "How Yoga Helps in Personal Harmony," will also be held. Participants would be given certificates. For details, contact: 9894401836/2549514/2300966.

Promotion campaign

Bank of Baroda will launch a "Baroda Money Plex," on October 29 on the premises of the Coimbatore main branch. It aims at promoting the bank's retail products, contacting builders, educational institutions and manufacturers, according to a release.

Programme

The valedictory function of LIC's social security month celebrations will be held on October 28 at the LIC Divisional Office.

According to a press release, claim and scholarship cheques will be distributed to beneficiaries at the programme.
