Schools closed

BANGALORE: The Government has declared a holiday for schools and colleges on Friday and Saturday in view of the continued rains and the disruption of life in and around Bangalore.

Minister for Primary Education Minister R. Ramalinga Reddy, who is in charge of Bangalore Urban district, announced the extension of holidays for schools and colleges within the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike limits and in areas under city municipal councils.
