Karnataka Bank net profit rises

MANGALORE: Karnataka Bank has posted a net profit of Rs. 83.50 crore for the first half of the current fiscal as compared to Rs. 70.01 crore in the same period during last year. While the second quarter net profit has increased from Rs. 31.28 crore to Rs. 41.81 crore, up 33.6 per cent, the year-to-year growth for the half-year ended September was 19.3 per cent.
