MANGALORE: Kanchana V. Subbaratnam, noted violinist, died in hospital here on Thursday. He was 57. He was from Kanchana village in Puttur taluk in Dakshina Kannada. Subbaratnam was an Akashavani and Doordarshan artiste. He has won several awards including the Madras Music Academy Award twice.
