DGP orders inquiry

Thiruvananthapuram: Director General of Police Raman Sreevastava has ordered an inquiry into the alleged custodial torture of a youth at Mangalapuram police station on Friday.

The DIG, Thiruvananthapuram, Range, Anil Kanth, will head the enquiry. The DGP visited the youth at the Medical College Hospital late on Friday night. He also interacted with his parents.
