Chennai to host India-Sri Lanka Test

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) prepared the itinerary for the Test series against Sri Lanka and the home series against England during its tour and fixture committee meeting here on Saturday.

After the meeting, chaired by BCCI vice-president Kamal Morarka, secretary S.K. Nair said, "According to the rotation policy, Delhi, Kanpur and Chennai will host the three Test matches against Sri Lanka even though the order of the venues has not been finalised. We would have to wait for the Sri Lankan board's view before finalising that."

The Test series against Sri Lanka: 1st Test: Dec 2-6, 2nd Test: Dec 10-14, 3rd Test: Dec 18-22; Test Series against England: Warm up match: Feb 25-27, Warm up match: Mar 1-4, 1st Test: Mar 8-12, 2nd Test: Mar 16-20, 3rd Test: Mar 25-29, ODI Series against England: Warm up match: Apr 1, 1st ODI: Apr 4, 2nd ODI: Apr 7, 3rd ODI: Apr 10, 4th ODI: Apr 13, 5th ODI: Apr 16, 6th ODI: Apr 19, 7th ODI: Apr 22. — UNI
