TTD to bring out book on Deekshithar's works

TIRUPATI: Tirumala-Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) would help bring out an edition on the works of Sri Muthuswamy Deekshithar, a member of the great musical `trinity'. Vanka Lalitha, a faculty of Sri Venkateswara University who has already carried out extensive studies on the works of Deekshithar has been asked by the TTD to publish the book.

According to TTD's Joint Executive Officer N. Muktheswara Rao, Deekthithar's immortal compositions were soaked in `Siva Thathvam.' He said those who closely followed the Deekshithar's kritis and their lyrical nuances could find concealed in them a distinct manthra and it is to bring out these finer aspects of his great works that the TTD was helping the author to come out with the book.
