Yen for enamel paintings

KOZHIKODE: `Keralam' an exhibition of enamel paintings by Srikanth K. Moorthy opens at Kerala Lalithakala Academy Art Gallery in Kozhikode on Sunday.

The four-day exhibition will be inaugurated by T.P.M. Zaheer, MLA, at 11.30 a.m. on Sunday. "The paintings depict the myths behind the birth of Kerala, the beauty of the land, coconut palms and rivers are the subjects of my paintings," says Moorthy, an arts teacher at the Rahmaniya School here.

All the art forms of the State have been depicted in the paintings.
