Delhi blasts: police on alert

Bangalore: The State police have been asked to be extra careful and deploy more men and keep an eye on suspects following the blasts in Delhi on Saturday.

Director-General and Inspector-General of Police B.S. Sial said the police were already on alert in view of floods, Deepavali and Ramzan. They have also been authorised to deploy the Karnataka State Reserve Police wherever necessary.

The city police are also on high alert, according to M.C. Narayana Gowda, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime). He said top officers were on the rounds.
