Bangalore: Four new companies Zyme Solutions, Satyam-Venture, Net Logic Microsystems and PMC Sierra have decided to set up units in Bangalore. Besides, Philadelphia-based LogroSoft Inc., which has an off-shore development centre in Mysore, has signed a strategic partnership with a Melbourne-based company Source Dynamix Asia Pacific Pty Ltd. on specialised healthcare and life sciences software applications and solutions.

"As per the agreement, both the companies will work together to take solutions to the world market," says Raghu Iyer, Managing Director, Source Dynamix.

LogroSoft Director Madan Kumar said that the company had bagged a $68 million telemedicine contract from the Malaysian Government, which would be executed by both the firms. B.V. Naidu, Director, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), said that it would open an incubation centre in Bangalore to promote entrepreneurship in semiconductor design work which would later be extended to Mangalore and Mysore.
