Bypoll: DIC(K) to coordinate campaign

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Democratic Indira Congress (Karunakaran) president K.Muraleedharan has directed the general secretaries to coordinate the campaign of LDF candidate Pannian Ravindran for the Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha byelection.

Each general secretary has been given the charge of an Assembly segment. Koyivila Ramachandran will be in charge of Parassala, N.Peethambara Kurup (Neyyatinkara), M.I.Chandrasekharan (Nemom), K.P.Kunhikannan (Thiruvananthapuram East), Jose Kattukaran (Thiruvananthapuram West) and C.Mohanan Pillai (Thiruvananthapuram North).

Vice-president Johnny Nellore will be in charge of Kovalam and Shobana George in charge of the organisational work in the district.

Secretaries Josey Sebastian, Ajeeba M.Saheb, Pandalam Prathapan, G.Rethikumar, T.M. Zakir Hussain, A.Thrivikraman Thampi and Baby Pathipally will be assisting the general secretaries, a party release said.
