BANGALORE: Sangeetya Asthaana, an organisation engaged in promotion of classical music and dance, has decided to institute "Sangeethya Puraskara" to artistes of eminence.

The award will be given to one artiste each in instrumental, vocal and dance, Hindustani singer Shyamala G. Bhave, head of the organisation, has said in a press release. The awards will be presented on November 20 at a function here. For details, call Ph: 9845046604 or 9341228994.
