Selection trials
Medak District Veterans Athletic Association will organise a selection trials on November 6 at BHEL Dr. Ambedkar Stadium from 7.00 am to pick the district team for next month's Inter-district meet in Guntur. Further particulars can be had from the Secretary C.H.Hariprasad, (ph: 23022195).
Skating meet
Ranga Reddy District Roller Skating Association will organise the district championship from November 12 to 13 at the SAAP skating velodrome (Osmania University) and at Indira Park Rink. Felicitation for Mulini
Aakriti, a social, literary and cultural organisation, will felicitate Arjuna awardee and former national volleyball player Mulini Reddy at the Sangam Function Hall near RTC Cross Roads on November 4. Sudhakar of `Akriti' said it was a privilege to honour an outstanding sportsperson who played in the Senior Nationals for 12 consecutive years from 1959 and who is also an international.
