BCIC signs pact with Spanish agency

Bangalore:
The Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Cambra De Comerce De Barcelona, Spain, to promote trade and economic ties between the two countries. The MoU was signed by Miquel Valls i Maseda, president of the Barcelona Chambers, and Venkat Kedlaya, vice-president, BCIC.
BCIC President Anant Koppar said: "The MoU aims at deriving the fullest benefit of the changing economic environment to promote private initiatives."
The MoU intends to strengthen and expand trade and economic ties and contacts between firms in the two countries; exchange information on the two economies; assist organisers in trade fairs; organise workshops and seminars; and facilitate exchange of business delegations.
