T. Jayaprakash Reddy
Sangareddy: Telangana Rastra Samithi's Sangareddy MLA Toorpu Jayaprakash Reddy has accused Harish Rao of playing group politics within the party. Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Mr. Jayaprakash Reddy, who kept himself away from party activities for a while, said that Harish Rao, who never ventured into Sangareddy before, was encouraging other party functionaries including the present in charge of his constituency Padma Devender Reddy to do so. Mr. Jayaprakah Reddy was in New Delhi along with another party senior leader A. Narendra when the party was organising a dharna against G O 170 in Sangareddy.
Joining Congress?
If his proximity with Congress leaders and his earlier comments on the party president K. Chandrasekhar Rao are any indication, the crisis in TRS is bound to continue, Mr. Jayaprakash Reddy refused to elaborate his future plans. When asked about his recent meetings with the Chief Minister, he said that these are all wild imaginations and he would comment on them at the right time.
`TDP help sought'
He said that TRS had become the personal property of the uncle and nephew duo. He further said that Mr. Harish Rao even sought help from the party's archrival-TDP-during the DCCB elections. He expressed hope that the party would bring in the changes suggested by several legislators during the past one month.
