APSFC felicitates `best customers'

VISAKHAPATNAM: The local branch of Andhra Pradesh State Financial Corporation on Tuesday felicitated its "best customers'' to mark the inaugural of the corporation's golden jubilee.

Branch manager A. Viswanadham said that since its inception in 1972, it had disbursed Rs. 132 crores to 1,733 units in the district resulting in direct or indirect employment to 23,000 persons and generating an investment of Rs. 250 crores.

Daspalla Hotels managing director M. Raghavedra Rao and Gayatri Nursing Home promoter T.J.L. Narasimha Rao were felicitated as "best customers associated for long with the corporation".

Lead district manager B. Kasavayya presided. NABARD assistant general manager G. Sarvesh and professor in Andhra University Department of Commerce and Management Studies B. Appa Rao spoke.
