CHENNAI: The Chennai-based Security Group, a leading agency in the country, has teamed up with Trojan Securities International of the U.S. to float a joint venture to provide high quality security solutions for assorted private and government entities. The joint venture is named as Trojan Securitas India (P) Ltd. Security Group will have 60 per cent stake in the new venture and the American outfit 40 per cent. J. Jayakumar, Director, Security Group, said the board of the joint venture would have two nominees from Trojan and three from the Indian side. Mr. Jayakumar said the joint venture was necessitated by the demand for greater and better security in the wake of drastic changes in the global scenario. The demand on security providing companies was greater and more complex now than in the past. The tie-up with Trojan would help to provide clients in the region the best possible security (guarding) and medical services. Stephen J. Mastalerz, Director, Trojan Securities, said the joint venture would help to provide clients with the latest skills in advisory services, training, operational support, intelligence support, strategic communication and the like.
