Leaders extend Ramzan greetings

BANGALORE: Governor T.N. Chaturvedi and Chief Minister N. Dharam Singh have greeted Muslims on the occasion of Ramzan. Mr. Chaturvedi has said: "On this happy occasion let us rededicate ourselves to the goals of peace and amity, and imbibe the essence of His tenets for the welfare of humanity."

The others to extend their greetings are Governor of Maharashtra S.M. Krishna, Union Minister of State for Planning M.V. Rajashekaran, M. Mallikarjun Kharge, President of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee and Minister for Water Resources, former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda, Deputy Chief Minister M.P. Prakash, Chairman of the Legislative Council V.R. Sudarshan, Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly B.S. Yediyurappa, Minister for Finance and Industries P.G.R. Sindhia, Information Minister B. Shivaram, and Public Works Minister H.D. Revanna.
