BANGALORE: British Airways, which has introduced a direct flight between Bangalore and London, will take members of the Dharam Singh Ministry and top officials to London on November 8. Addressing presspersons here on Thursday, Minister for Tourism D.T. Jayakumar said Ministers and officials will return to Bangalore on November 11. To mark direct connectivity between the two cities, the Government has organised a programme at the Palace Grounds on November 14. British High Commissioner in New Delhi Michael Arthur and Mr. Dharam Singh will participate in the function. British Airways has become the first global carrier to provide direct connectivity between London and Bangalore. The premier British airline also claimed to have become the first to offer direct connectivity between London's Heathrow and Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Bangalore.
