Special trains to clear extra rush

CHENNAI: Southern Railway will operate the following special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers.

Train No. 0686 Madurai-Chennai Egmore Special will leave Madurai at 9 a.m. on November 6 and arrive at Egmore at 4.30 p.m. on same day.

Train No. 0662 Mangalore-Chennai Central Special (via Coimbatore) will leave Mangalore at 2 p.m. November 6 and arrive at Central at 6 a.m. the next day. In the return direction train No. 0661 will leave Central at 5 p.m. on November 11 and reach Mangalore at 8.30 a.m. the next day.

Train No. 0612 Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore Special will leave Nagercoil at 7 p.m. on November 5 and arrive here at 9 a.m. the next day.

Train No. 0645 Chennai Central-Bangalore Special will leave Central at 10.50 p.m. on November 6 and reach Bangalore at 7.45 a.m. the next day.

Train No. 0651 Bangalore-Tiruchi Special will leave Bangalore at 10 p.m. on November 7 and arrive Tiruchi at 8 a.m. the next day.

Train No. 0666 Thiruvananthapurm-Chennai Central Special will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 3.15 p.m. on November 6 and arrive here at 8.15 a.m. the next day.

Train No. 0650 Chennai Central-Ernakulam Special (via Coimbatore) will leave Central at 10.30 p.m. on November 7 and arrive Ernakulam at 11.45 a.m. the next day.

Advance reservation for the above trains will commence from November 4, according to a railway press release.
