BJP's plea to Jana Reddy

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: A delegation of BJP, led by its national secretary, B. Dattatreya, has appealed to Home Minister K. Jana Reddy to ensure that Pallavi returned to her parents at least for 15 days. The parents of Pallavi, who accompanied the BJP leaders to the Minister, offered to give an undertaking that they would not interfere with the religious freedom of their daughter. Pallavi would be allotted a separate room at their house where she could offer prayers as per Islamic practice. She could decide on the choice of her religion within the fortnight, the delegation said.
