The columns show maximum and minimum temperature in Celsius, rainfall during last 24 hours (tr-trace) and total rainfall in mm since October 1, 2005. Isolated heavy rain likely in Tamil Nadu CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at many places over north Tamil Nadu and at a few places over South Tamil Nadu, coastal Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Isolated rainfall occurred over Rayalaseema, coastal Karnataka and Kerala. Dry weather prevailed over Telangana and north interior Karnataka. The minimum temperature fell appreciably at one or two places over coastal and south interior Karnataka and Rayalaseema, fell at one or two places over north interior Karnataka, Telangana and Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region. They were appreciably below normal at one or two places over south interior Karnataka, below normal at one or two places over north interior Karnataka, Telangana, appreciably above normal at one or two places over north coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at a few places over rest coastal Andhra Pradesh, north Tamil Nadu and were generally normal over the rest of the region. Nizamabad and Ramagundam recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 15{+o} Celsius in the plains of the region. FORECAST (valid until Sunday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Kerala and at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Telangana and coastal and north interior Karnataka. HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING: Isolated heavy rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Kerala during the next 48 hours. Farmers Weather Bulletin for Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry (Forecast valid until Sunday morning): Moderate to rather heavy rain is likely to occur at many places over all the districts of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. Outlook for subsequent two days: Slight increase in rainfall over south Tamil Nadu.
