Thrissur: Three members of a family were found dead in their house at Muthammavu in Orumanayur, near here, on Friday.

The bodies of Muthammavu Kizhakkebhagom Pillarikkal Ramachandran, 45, and his daughter Chitra, 10, were found in a bedroom. Ramachandran's wife Latha, 40, was found dead in a corridor. A 30-year-old man in the neighbourhood, Navaz of Ambalathu House, was also found in the house with injuries.

The police suspected that he had attempted suicide after attacking the members of the family. Navaz has been admitted to a private hospital here. He is an accused in several criminal cases. Ramachandran had lodged a complaint in the Chavakkad police station that Navaz was troubling Latha.
