Thiruvananthapuram: Air India (AI) has re-launched the Companion Free scheme between India, USA, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe wherein passenger paying fare for his/her ticket can take along a companion free. According to a release from the airline, the scheme is valid till March 31, 2006. The scheme can be availed for both one way and return travel. Both fare paying passenger and the free companion will have to travel together at least on the outbound sector. The scheme is applicable for travel between India and New York, Newark, Chicago, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Birmingham, Paris, Frankfurt in normal (IATA), first, executive and economy class fares.
