Staff Correspondent

HAMPI: Renowned playback singer S.P. Balasubramanyam stole the show on the second day of Hampi Utsav, the three-day mega cultural festival of dance, drama and music being held here. The multi-lingual singer left over 50,000 people, who had assembled near Chamaras Vedike, the main stage, mesmerised with his performance spanning two hours in which he rendered popular Kannada songs.

Though the programme was scheduled at 8 p.m., people started descending on Hampi at 4 p.m.to occupy the seats.
